French Thinkers and Curses
I have recently, through my course of study, been studying the work of French or French-speaking thinkers in the area of postmodernism/postructuralism and have discovered that the names of some of these thinkers (and indeed thinkers of different cultures) lend themselves to exclamations. My apologies for incorrect spelling. And yes before you complain, I know some of these aren't French.
For example:
Shove it up your Derrida! OR Shove it up your Nietzche!
Why don't you just Foucault!
Instead of saying "Sacre bleu!", you could "Bourdieu!"
Holy Kristeva!
Oh, Levi-Strauss will ya?
Lacan be serious!
If you can think of any more, let me know.
