The Slang of Beavish

Hi, This is my first blog so go easy on me. Part of the reason I started this blog is as research for a small assignment on blogging for my university degree in education. Part of it was so I could tell the world about the wonderful slang of Beavish. At some stage in 2004, I realised my friends and I spoke using slang of our own. I started documenting it and then we started making things up on the spot, for fun and because we love words and were pleased with our cleverness. I intend to use this blog to tell the world about our slang, encourage people to join in or offer suggestions and to update on new Beavishisms. I will leave this first blog with our most popular phrase in Beavish: "Check for parsley" Meaning: Go to to the toilet. Usage: "I am just going to check for parsley". As for an explanation of that, well let's leave it for another day. see ya OR as we say in Beavish: "bye, bye, see ya, bye, see ya"
